How'd I get here?
Seriously I am lost! Making people laugh is something I do well, or maybe it’s something in my teeth, and while I enjoy it, I also make others think and question. Like a court jester who is well informed on the whose and what's of the kingdom and then mocks the king as an act of entertainment and rebellion. They wrap the truth in comedy. Too often, actors just want a laugh or just want a smile, yet with the world we live in makes that not an option for me. I am pulled towards works that entertain the audience, intrigue, and make the viewer reflect. This is my belief that art is a mirror of our current society, regardless of when it is made. That added depth and analysis are present in my performances and research for the productions I am in. “He hopes to make the audience feel all the emotions of the performance and go ‘wow’ as the curtain goes down,” as written by the North End Living magazine.
My journey through life started when I was born… OK, I’ll cut to the chase. I have two cats, play the accordion, juggle, do impressions, and have yet to meet any President of the United States so they can’t be real. Only been on this earth for a short time, and yet I have still made the most of it. My hobbies might seem scattered, yet I will assure you they all combine to elevate the art I produce. Still figuring out that last part, but these areas of interest have led me to places and to people I’d never imagined.
Since working with kids at a young age I have realized the value of helping a kid in need. Growing up, I lacked a lot of foundation and so I have become the person I needed as a child. The work I have done, even at my lowest, has affected others in ways I never could thought of and helped people out of some dark places. Life is cruel and beautiful, and it takes a certain kind of person to help others see that beauty through the hardships.
